At Trynlee, your privacy is not an afterthought — it's a core part of how we build. This policy explains, in plain English, what we do with your information when you use Trynlee Careers.

What we collect

• The CV you upload (PDF or DOCX).
• The job advert and job details you paste or type.
• Basic technical information such as browser type, for reliability and abuse prevention.

Why we collect it

We use this information only to generate your tailored CV, cover letter and interview preparation. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell it to anyone.

How long we keep it

Uploaded CVs are processed to create your application and are not retained longer than necessary for that purpose. We are designing the product to minimise data retention wherever possible.

Your rights under POPIA

If you are in South Africa, the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) gives you rights over your personal information, including the right to access, correct or delete it. You can contact us at any time to exercise these rights.

Data sharing

We use a small number of trusted service providers (for example, secure hosting and AI processing) to run the product. These providers only process your information on our instructions and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to keep your information secure. No system is perfect, but we're committed to responsible data handling.
