Privacy Policy

This policy explains, in plain English, what happens to your information when you use Trynlee Careers, and which services are involved.

What we collect

• Your account details (email address and sign-in information).
• The text extracted from the CV or resume you upload (PDF or DOCX).
• The job advert and job details you paste or type.
• Records of your generations (job title, category, date), credit balance and purchases.
• Basic usage and technical information, if analytics is enabled.

How your CV and job advert are used

To create your tailored CV or resume, cover letter and interview preparation, the text of your CV and the job advert are sent to our configured AI provider for processing. We do not use this content for advertising and we do not sell it.

Services we use

• Supabase — account sign-in and our database (credits, generation records and purchase records).
• Google Gemini — AI processing of your CV and job advert, when configured.
• Lovable AI gateway — used for AI processing only when Google Gemini is not configured.
• Paystack — payment processing. We do not see or store your card details.
• Google Analytics — website usage statistics, when enabled.

Each provider handles information under its own terms and privacy policy. We choose reputable providers, but we cannot guarantee how third parties process data beyond what their terms state.

Where your results are saved

Your most recent generated application is saved in your browser's local storage on your device, so the results page can show it. It is not stored in our database. You can remove it at any time using the "Clear saved application" button on the results page, or by clearing your browser's site data.

How long we keep it

We keep account, credit, generation and purchase records while your account exists. We have not set fixed retention periods yet; information processed by our AI and payment providers is subject to their own retention practices. Contact us if you would like your account information deleted.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, privacy laws such as South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) may give you rights to access, correct or request deletion of your personal information. Contact us to make a request and we will respond as soon as we reasonably can.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, such as access controls on our database. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
